The band Saints and Heroes was formed in the summer of 2006. The band met and grew up in the little town of Sainte Genevieve, Missouri (near St. Louis). The band leader Micah Puhse grew up playing music with his family in the Travis Lee Band touring the nation and learning about music. Micah hoped to begin writing and performing in his own band someday. After years of traveling and performing he finally was ready to begin building his music. His brother Gabe, a drummer and popular solo artist, commited to be the drummer for the band and recuited his best friend Jon "Weez" Lamborn who was known as one of the best bassist in St. Louis, to join the band. The band promoted and played their first show in Ste. Genevieve and began to play more popular towns and venues in the St. Louis area.  In Febuary 2007, Saints and Heroes released their first album entiled 2.28.98, refering to a significant day in Micah's history. It was a 7 song album which they engineered and produced themselves. The band is continuing to work hard independently at spreading their music across America.
